The slim, floorstanding OPTICON 6 MK2 is the entry point in the OPTICON MK2 series for the renowned DALI hybrid soft dome and ribbon tweeter. Assembled at our own factory in Denmark.HIGH-PERFORMANCE AUDIODynamic accuracy with extraordinary detail and clarityThe internal volume of the floorstanding OPTICON 6 MK2 significantly extends low-frequency response and bass volume level, making it ideally suited to large listening spaces. And with our signature hybrid tweeter module, it also has extraordinary detail and clarity higher up. As with the MK1 series, the OPTICON 6 MK2 is manufactured at our factory in Denmark using components produced in-house or sourced from the best specialist manufacturers locally and further afield.AERODYNAMIC REFLEX PORTBringing port design into the realm of aerodynamicsAs a reflex-loaded speaker, the OPTICON 6 MK2 channels unused acoustic output generated by the woofer to extend low-frequency bandwidth and increase power handling. Using a dual flare shape that minimises turbulence at the entry and exit flares, the OPTICON 6 MK2 brings port design into the realm of aerodynamics.PATENTED SMCReducing distortion with Soft Magnetic CompoundThe OPTICON 6 MK2 driver magnet system consists of a large ferrite ring magnet surrounding a pole-piece manufactured entirely of the unique DALI SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound) material. The use of SMC greatly reduces mechanical distortion caused by hysteresis and eddy currents, resulting in a drastic reduction in third-order distortion for extended listening pleasure, a relaxed midrange and a surprising amount of detailing.Read moreHYBRID TWEETERThe master of wide dispersionThe OPTICON 6 MK2 hybrid tweeter module marries a 29 mm soft dome tweeter with a custom 17 x 45 mm ribbon element. Both drivers are mounted on a cast aluminium faceplate, which provides a solid platform for the drivers and incorporates dispersion control detailing for optimal delivery of the high frequencies for off-axis listening. Our hybrid tweeter module offers the best of both worlds – the clarity, speed and dynamics of a dome tweeter with the very high-frequency detail and smooth finesse of a ribbon tweeter.WOOD FIBRE WOOFERLow loss, low distortion and low colourationThe two 6½" bass drivers have been designed according to our sound design principles of low loss, low distortion and low colouration. The ideal driver plays only what the amplifier supplies... nothing is added, nothing is taken away. Every OPTICON 6 MK2 component is carefully designed to contribute towards this goal, including the paper pulp and wood fibre cone, which ensures minimal break-up resonance for a high resolution midrange and precise, coherent bass.HIGH QUALITY CABINETEnsuring the highest quality productsWith a 25 mm thick front baffle and extra internal bracing, the OPTICON 6 MK2 cabinet is extremely rigid and practically eliminates panel resonance. To ensure the best possible quality product, we manufacture and test OPTICON MK2 series speakers at our production facilities in central Denmark, carrying out everything from cutting and routing of the wood laminate panels to installing the drivers and crossover.

Designed for smaller spaces, KAYA 25 delivers a fine-detailed, transparent sound on a scale that belies its compact dimensions. Drawing visual inspiration from our bestselling OVAL range, and sharing technology with our all-conquering GIYA loudspeakers, KAYA 25 is the most accessible way to bring the transformative Vivid Audio approach to the music you love the most.A NEW LISTENING EXPERIENCEThe KAYA 25 is a two-way speaker, with the alloy-coned C125D drive unit handling both bass and mid frequencies. Adopting a technology previously used only in our GIYA bass drivers, the driver is fitted with a radial rare-earth magnet, which ensures clean, transparent sound right to the top of its range. The laws of physics (which we’re bound to obey) dictate that at the upper end of the frequency range, the sound becomes more focused and directional. To match this, the D26 tweeter is mounted in a shallow waveguide, ensuring that the sound field remains completely seamless. The effect is a compelling listening experience that holds your attention and draws you into the music: perfect for more concentrated listening, and enjoying music with nuance, depth and complexity.A SLIMLINE PROFILE WITH HIDDEN DEPTHSAlthough it’s a two-way system, KAYA 25 still benefits from the same patented Tapered Tube bass loading you’ll find in the larger members of the KAYA family, as well as our more technically complex GIYA loudspeakers. The difference is that in KAYA 25, the exponential absorber horn is cleverly concealed in the stand. This gives the loudspeaker a slim, unobtrusive outline that finds its place effortlessly in almost any setting: indeed, the name KAYA is the Zulu word for ‘home’.A WELCOME ADDITION TO THE FAMILYIf the profile of KAYA 25 seems familiar, it may be because it recalls our bestselling OVAL B1 Decade. We’d always had it in mind to try wrapping the absorber horn into the OVAL stand, as it seemed such a logical development: with KAYA 25, we’ve finally done it – and it works as beautifully as we suspected it would. The result is bass reproduction with the same clarity and articulation as both the larger KAYA models and our GIYA loudspeakers: every note is perfectly distinct and free from blurring, so you get to enjoy it precisely as it was played.
