The A2700 power amplifier is the perfect partner for the P1 pre-amplifier. The Elipson A2700 power amplifier is a high-end model capable of delivering a high power output of 400 W RMS under 8 ohms in stereo mode or 1400 W RMS under 8 ohms in mono mode. The Elipson A2700 power amp is thus able to give life and energy to any pair of floorstanding or bookshelf speakers. Its association with a preamplifier is also facilitated by its unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR inputs. It amplifies any signal in its entirety with disconcerting ease thanks to its high amplification capacity: 400 W RMS under 8 Ohms, 700 W RMS under 4 Ohms and especially 900W in impulse mode under 2 Ohms. Modular, it can be bridged in mono and offer 1400 W RMS (2500 W peak) under 8 Ohms, and this, without thermal runaway So this amplifier can drive all the speakers of the market. Beyond its power and its modularity, it is also the techniques used that impress: oriented towards the minimisation of background noise and distortion, as these are essential elements in the respect of the intensity of the notes in the service of musicality. An iron fist in a velvet glove, that's really what characterizes our amplifier, allowing you to find the live experience of a concert in all its complexity and finesse. Our range is entirely made in France in our Burgundy factory.

The analog purist. This is the preamplifier for the lover of pure analog technology. With motorized volume control, retro-look-VU-meter, tape monitor and the all superior VOLTAiR technology the Elector brings analog sources to new life. Milled from solid is the big 45mm Volume control. Its mass together with the motorized Alps RK27 “Big Blue” potentiometer enhances the “spoon in the honey” feeling even further. The red marker LED makes the setting visible even in darkened environments. Volume RC The volume can be remote controlled with any infrared remote control, that the Elector simply learns. To do this, press the IR programming button and then the buttons for louder and quieter. Learning made easy This video explains how you can use any infrared remote control to remotely control the volume and the source selection. Source of joy Up to six (6 !) analog stereo sources can be connected to the Elector. The Elector offers three pairs of balanced inputs with XLR connectors and three pairs of standard inputs with gold-plated RCA connectors. Good ol' times Two mechanical VU meters visualize the input levels for the left and right audio channel. With the VU switch you can optimize the display for different signal levels. Tape Monitor A tape monitor circuitry is quite retro. Who still owns a cassette recorder or a tape machine? Who still has an equalizer? To put it another way: Who would like to do it and cannot do it because no manufacturer offers a tape monitor circuit anymore? Well, those who want can again. Today’s audio levels are much higher than in the past and many recorders will be overloaded by them. In that case simply press the switch and the level to the recorder is lowered by 10 dB. To compensate, the level from the recorder is increased by 10 dB. Et voilà. Preamp & Direct Out On the output side, power amplifiers or active loudspeakers can be connected to the preamp output sockets using XLRs. The Direct Out via RCA picks up the output signal before the volume control and thus offers the possibility to connect a headphone amplifier. AMP CTL Practical are the AMP CTL sockets to which power amplifiers with 12 V trigger inputs can be connected in order to remotely switch them on and off together with the Director Mk2. Finally an analog crossover again It is difficult to optimally integrate subwoofers. At present, there are almost only digital crossovers for this purpose. But who wants to convert back and forth? You don’t need to anymore. Our Crossover sets the crossovers anew. Crossing over The crossover is divided into two section: The Low section for the subwoofer (mono or stereo) and the Mid-Hi section for the top/main speakers. The crossover frequencies for Low and Mid-Hi can be set individually from 50 Hz to 120 Hz in 6 positions. The Low filter has a slope of 24 dB per octave. The slope of the MID-HI filter can be switched from 12 dB (Butterworth) to 24 dB (Linkwitz/Riley). In Phase Audio signals should come from the speakers and subwoofers in phase. The crossover offers variable phase control for this purpose. Use the toggle switch to activate the phase control (phase 0° or phase -180°) and use the control to establish simultaneousness. If the phase control is not required, it can be switched off and thus disappears completely from the signal path. One or two? If you want to connect two subwoofers (one for L and one for R), this switch should be set to stereo. If you only use one subwoofer, switch to mono. The crossover creates a mono signal of the Low frequencies and outputs it to both Low outputs (L + R). On or off? If you prefer to run the top/main speakers full-range, you can switch off the MID-Hi filter. Get rid off it With the Low Cut filter all frequencies below 20 Hz can be filtered out with a 6dB roll-off. This way, no inaudible low frequencies get into the power amplifier, which relieves it a lot. As long as you're having fun The output volume of the subwoofer can be varied from -10 dB to +10 dB. In addition to the purely corrective adjustment of the speaker system, you can add more bass into recordings that lack low end. It’s like saying, “Happiness is when the bass kicks in.” Good ol' times Two mechanical VU meters visualize the input levels for the left and right audio channel. With the VU switch you can optimize the display for different signal levels. Sources The Elector offers both balanced inputs with XLR sockets and standard inputs with gold-plated RCA sockets. The RC-1570 provides an entryway into higher performing separate components with all of the analog and digital inputs required by today's sources. Separate components hold the promise of the best possible fidelity, since each device is optimized for its role in the sound reproduction chain. Rotel has been designing and manufacturing high performance components for dedicated enthusiasts for over 50 years. Those decades of experience, along with precise and efficient in-house manufacturing, are fully evident in Rotel separates. As countless reviewers have testified over the years, they rival and frequently exceed the performance of much higher priced offerings. The new RC-1570 stereo preamplifier, a blend of cutting edge digital circuitry with on-board Digital-to-Analog conversion and classic analog stages, is the latest example. Beneath the clean lines and user friendly fascia of the RC-1570 lies highly sophisticated engineering. Both analog and digital sources have been given equal consideration as today’s listener often has several digital sources, but may also enjoy legacy formats like vinyl LPs. A large toroidal transformer and regulated power supply ensures stable current and voltage requirements to all stages under dynamic conditions. Premium circuit components have been selected only after extensive listening evaluations. Careful routing of all low level signals has been practiced to ensure impressive signal to noise levels. The result is effortless musical dynamics, impressive detail and scale. The RC-1570 stereo preamplifier is also extremely flexible. Four digital inputs (2 coax and 2 optical), plus the rear PC-USB input handle digital sources up to 24-bit/192kHz resolution. The digital inputs are designed for sources such as TV set-top boxes, flat panel TVs or Blu-ray players for stunning playback. The PC-USB input makes use of audio playback software such as iTunes or Windows Media Player to replay music from your computer digital library. A Bluetooth dongle is provided to be used with the front USB input. A premium Wolfson stereo D/A converter handles critical conversion from digital data to analog. Analog inputs include balanced XLR connectors (perfect for connecting the RCD-1570 via its XLR outputs) in addition to four pair of conventional RCA inputs. A moving magnet phono stage rounds out the source capability. XLR and single ended outputs are provided, as are two 12-volt triggers to control on/off operation of an amplifier and/or other components and RS-232 on a standard DB-9 connector. In short, the RC-1570 is a tremendous value and the perfect upgrade for owners of older analog-only preamplifiers. The RA-1572 combines proven analog design with sophisticated digital circuits to bring all of your sources to life with amazing fidelity. Long recognized as a central component in superb yet cost-effective music systems, the integrated amplifier’s job has evolved substantially as many music-lovers have migrated to digital sources. The RA-1572 is one of the best examples of melding classic analog design with contemporary digital circuits to bring all of your sources to life with surpassing fidelity. As typical of Rotel amplifiers, the RA-1572’s circuitry draws on a high capacity power supply based on a Rotel custom designed and in-house manufactured oversized toroidal transformer. In addition to providing an abundance of voltage and current for all operating stages, the transformer’s toroidal shape helps prevent stray radiation patterns from corrupting audio signals as they pass through adjacent circuit stages. Subsequent power supply segments built with tight-tolerance parts including T-Network capacitors provide the exact voltage and current requirements to ensure stress-free signal reproduction. The RA-1572’s input section is substantially more flexible than that found in most integrated amplifiers. In recognition of the predominance of digital sources available today, the RA-1572 has a built-in state of the art 32-bit/768kHz AKM digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and analog stages of the highest quality. The DAC and surrounding circuitry supports a vast array of source inputs including DSD capable PC-USB (32-bit/384kHz). A front panel USB input is provided for easy connection of a wide variety of music storage devices including Apple iPods, iPhones, and iPads. The Bluetooth input supports aptX for superior performance with compatible devices. In addition, two each coaxial (RCA) and optical (TOSlink) inputs provide easy connections for LPCM music sources including popular streaming devices with up to 24-bit word lengths sampled at 192 kHz. Importantly, it is possible to fix the level and set an auto-on option with digital inputs for use with devices that provide their own volume control for convenient “hands-off” use. Analog inputs include a pair of balanced XLR connectors in addition to conventional RCA jacks. The Class AB output stage uses discrete devices to ensure precise reproduction of all signals regardless of origin with virtually any loudspeaker. The power output, conservatively rated at a robust 120 watts per channel into 8 ohms, is substantial as it is a continuous “both channels driven simultaneously” rating fully in keeping with real-world requirements and Rotel’s tradition of providing extraordinary value. A mono subwoofer output is also provided. User conveniences include two 12-volt triggers to control on/off operation of other components, a highly visible VFD display for set-up, internet-based software updates, as well as RS232 and IP control capabilities. Crafted for pure musical performance, Statement is the pinnacle of Naim Audio engineering knowledge and artistry. The series comprises the NAC S1 preamplifier and NAP S1 mono power amplifiers. Origins The idea for an entirely new kind of amplifier was first conceived by our engineers over a decade ago and development began in earnest in 2011. The objective was to set a new reference standard in high-end audio and music reproduction. The result is Statement. Three years of relentless questioning, iterative design and a point blank refusal to accept no as an answer. Performance First Engineering Product engineers often begin with what exists already. They might ask how something can work better, or where improvements can be made. With Statement, we started with a blank sheet of paper and a vision: to create the ultimate amplifier. After the initial concept stage the engineering team set aside practical considerations and began to map out the product in free space. This creative freedom was then backed up by 3D computer models which confirmed the optimum position for each component. To accommodate this new layout Statement pioneers a new vertical structure. It was the best way to minimise electromagnetic and mechanical interference and maximise thermal performance. Duality In Design Statement's radically different aesthetic may seem like a departure from Naim Audio tradition but it's the ultimate expression of everything we represent. The imposing monolithic structure with its stark silhouette is offset by the organic sculptural flow of the heat sink and the beautifully lit volume control and central divide. This duality in the design reflects how our pursuit of technical brilliance is always grounded in the abstract human experience of music. If it's the best amplifier in the world in lab tests we’ve only done half a job - it's in the listening room where it really counts. Technology Everything about Statement is a leap forward in technology and design. It's been engineered from the ground up for pure performance. Isolation Statement perfectly represents our philosophy of providing the highest quality power supply, while isolating individual sections to avoid unwanted interference. The NAC S1 and NAP S1 share the same fundamental layout. The noisy power supply is housed in the base and sensitive electronics are nestled above. Each section is divided by an acrylic centre-piece that blocks interaction. Top section electronics are separated further still, with internal chambers isolating individual stages. Dual Power The Statement NAP S1 features a new bridged dual design with zero global feedback. The two stages are physically separated to optimise the amplifier circuit with the delicate voltage stage at the very top of the power amplifier, away from the current stage at the bottom. Each mono power amplifier uses a huge 4000VA transformer to power speakers with precisely 746W (into 8 ohms). Precision engineering also makes sure every single watt is delivered right to where it's needed, when it's needed. After all, power is nothing without purpose. Craft Every component, curve and connection in Statement demanded new levels of engineering and tolerance. Metallurgy The distinctive ‘wave’ heat sinks begin life as a solid billet of untreated aluminium, which is cut to size and machined to achieve the curved profile. The fins are then cut using a five-axis, temperature-controlled, CNC machine. It takes three hours for the finished shape to emerge. Once each piece is individually machined, it is painstakingly hand-polished and quality inspected. Finishing After the inspection process, the metalwork is submerged in baths of cleansing acid and then into a bath of electrolyte fluid containing black ink. A current is passed through it, bonding the ink to the metalwork and creating Naim Audio's signature black finish. It took several months of collaboration between our engineers and suppliers to achieve the finish Statement demanded. Hand-Crafting Statement has been designed and developed using cutting-edge manufacturing technology. But it takes a human touch to get things just right. For example, every sound-critical component is positioned and soldered by hand by our skilled technicians. As with all Naim Audio products final assembly is carried out by hand in Wiltshire, England. With the knowledge in hand to design minimally invasive electronics without needing to be minimalist, we decided that our preamp should be complete. Very complete. The basic Makua is an extremely transparent gain stage and a programmable routing matrix. The chassis has ample room to fit optional extras, most notably a DAC and a phono stage. The 6 preset buttons are programmable via USB or Bluetooth to access any combination of channel, processing and routing. In a system with mainly digital sources, the preset buttons would be programmed to select between them. Vinl lovers on the other hand might want to use several buttons to select the same turntable but with different EQ settings to suit their large collection of historic LP's. All five inputs are switchable between XLR and floating RCA connections, and all can be assigned as either phono or line. All stages in the Makua use discrete amplifier modules in a little known topology called “single-ended driven differential”. Compared to doubly executed signal paths, this structure prevents noise from propagating all the way through. The Makua is amazingly immune to influences like mains quality and choice of interlinks. The relay-based volume control directly controls the gain of the output stage. Dynamic range and linearity of this arrangement is much greater than those of stepped attenuators. Operation is smooth and entirely glitch free. I/O* 5 balanced and 5 unbalanced inputs, all routable through optional processor boards like the phono stage.* 2 parallel outputs for bi-amping.* 4 programmable trigger outputs.Processing* Balance and input gain offset.* Phase invert and mono sum.* Full software control of routing and processingPerformance* Maximum input/output level: 20 dBu (7.75 Vrms)* Unweighted noise voltage at unity gain: 1.9 uV* Input impedance: 100 kohm* Output impedance: 44 ohm* Distortion at maximum signal level (THD, IMD): not measurable, estimated around -150dB.* Bandwidth >200 kHz* Gain range: -70 dB to +15 dB.* Gain resolution:

Yes the Shrimp is entirely a single-ended design. The circuitry uses single-ended topology. In order to be able to provide balanced inputs or outputs we would have to convert the signal to balanced using something like some IC's or transformers. Both these options would add more "stuff" to the signal and be certainly audible detracting from the pure sound the Shrimp provides. If you are dealing with balanced source outputs or driving a balanced amplifier with the Shrimp, check to see if you also have unbalanced connections on that gear, change your cables and go with that. You might be pleasantly surprised that they too added extra audible "stuff" in order to provide balanced XLRs and the RCAs that don't have that extra "stuff" in the signal path actually sound better. (Depends on a given unit's specific design.) Or use some RCA to XLR adaptors. Most balanced gear has no problem being driven single ended but check with the manufacturer if they are going to want the negative pin 3 of the XLR grounded or floating. Transformer-coupled XLR jacks always can be driven single-ended by running HOT into Pin 2 and grounding pin 3 to pin 1. Some IC coupled XLR inputs will want pin 3 floating, others will require it to be grounded when running single-ended into it. Check with the manufacturer of your gear to see how to hook it up single-ended. Our most esoteric product is THE 300B PREAMPLlFIER. This is the first and only preamp to feature these classic tubes. We had been designing the 300B into small power amps for many years and have always had great respect for the smooth natural sound of this tube. However, a single 300B provides truly appropriate power and voltage swing for headphones and makes a remarkable line driver. Here is where the impedances are not too low and the power requirements are not too high: ideal for this kind of tube in a single-ended configuration. This was the genesis of a new preamp. The NAC 552 is by some distance the most advanced Naim preamplifier ever and has some claim, therefore, to being the best preamplifier, period. The introduction of the NAP 500 in 2000 brought with it a new level of technical and musical performance. A Naim design project group began reviewing the existing preamplifier designs exploring possibilities for major design improvement over the then existing reference preamplifier: the Naim NAC 52. Controlled performance. Step up from the NAC 202 and you arrive at the outstanding NAC 282, which includes the NAPSC power supply unit optionally available on its sibling. The NAPSC independently powers the NAC 282’s digital and control circuits, leaving its audio circuits to either the power supply of a NAC 155 XS or NAP 200 power amplifier, or to one of our standalone FlatCap XS, HiCap or SuperCap power supplies. The result is even greater transparency and superior musicality plus, of course, all the flexibility you’d expect from one of our preamplifiers. Features: Support for both DIN and RCA inputs to facilitate connection into a wider range of systems Silent microprocessor control that sleeps during listening Precision rotary potentiometers with precious metal wipers AV bypass mode for simple connection to an existing AV system Powered input for use with StageLine or SuperLine phono stages Performance upgradable with FlatCap XS, HiCap or SuperCap power supply; can also be powered from the preamp inputs of the NAP 155 XS or NAP 200 power amplifier Technology & Craft Low resonance circuit boards and anti-vibration, resonance control feet maximise isolation, hence minimizing the effects of microphonic vibration on the highly sensitive electronic components. The NAC 282 features a silent microprocessor that sleeps during listening and controls all aspects of the amplifier. Optical protection circuits continuously monitor the power supplies ensuring safe shut-down in the event of a power cut. A user configurable 'Smart IR' system remote control is supplied. Two of the six inputs on the Naim Audio NAC 282 can be configured either as the usual DIN inputs, preferred for their superior earthing and impedance matching, or for use with the more common RCA phono connectors, allowing a wide range of non-Naim Audio cables and components to be used. A dedicated unity-gain input is provided for use with the Naim Audio AV2 processor or similar. Audio Inputs: Other Inputs: AV input configurable for unity gain Input Impedance: 47kΩ Analogue Input: 4 x DIN, 2 x DIN, RCA Input Sensitivity: 75mV Audio Outputs: Audio Outputs: 2 x variable (DIN), 3 x fixed (DIN) Other Outputs:

Classic Naim Audio control and clarity. Like many of our products, the NAC 252 stems from good stock: it descends directly from the NAC 52, still one of the finest preamplifiers ever made. Capable of exceptional clarity, its power supply components reside in a separate enclosure: the SuperCap power supply unit. This ensures optimum isolation from electromagnetic interference and provides each of the ten audio circuits with an independent, fully regulated supply voltage. Additionally, separate power supplies for the digital control and switching circuitry further isolate the audio circuitry from noise. It’s this attention to detail that makes the NAC 252 so special – that, and our determination to let nothing stand in the way of your musical enjoyment. Features: Support for both DIN and RCA inputs to facilitate connection into a wider range of systems SuperCap power supply (with fourteen independently regulated voltages) required Totally separate regulated supplies for digital control and switching circuitry Precision rotary potentiometers with precious metal wipers AV bypass mode for simple connection to an existing AV system Powered input for use with StageLine or SuperLine phono stages Technology & Craft Many designs were explored for the NAC 252 and a complete review of the circuit topology and components took place in accordance with the developments pioneered in preamplifiers such as the NAC52. Hundreds of hours were spent listening to various designs, ensuring that the harmony between music and technology was always maintained. Ten independently regulated power supplies are fed from the matching SuperCap power supply. Totally separate regulated supplies for the digital control and switching ensure no noise is generated in the audio circuits.
