The DAC-Z10 is built on a fully balanced architecture with two independent AK4191 + AK4499 DAC modules, operating separately for the left and right channels. The integrated R2R volume control maintains signal integrity across all listening levels, preserving the music exactly as the artist intended. Together with AKM’s Velvet Sound technology, it achieves the perfect balance between analytical precision and musical warmth.

Perfect timing with OCXO technology:

To ensure accurate signal reproduction, the DAC-Z10 utilizes an OCXO temperature-controlled crystal oscillator combined with PLL (Phase-Locked Loop) technology. External 10 MHz and 25 MHz clocks are also supported, allowing you to achieve even greater accuracy in your system.

A dedicated 6.35 mm headphone amplifier delivers powerful, clean sound with automatic impedance adjustment for headphones ranging from 16 Ohm to 300 Ohm. The large 8.8” IPS touchscreen and intuitive mobile App provide complete control over signal routing, filter settings, balance, and visual VU meters—bringing your music to life both sonically and visually.
