Elipson

Elipson Sound Tree red, up to 12 speakersThe Elipson Sound Tree is a unique creation in the world of high fidelity, born from the imagination of designers Maurizio Galante, Lancman Tal and Jean-Yves Le Porcher. It is composed of a subwoofer integrating the amplification - the trunk - and 12 spherical speakers to be suspended from the ceiling - the fruits - connected together by fabric-covered cables - the vines. The Elipson Sound Tree musical tree offers an extremely modular solution for broadcasting music in the most diverse locations. By varying the arrangement of the speakers, it adapts to all spaces, from the most intimate (living room, living room) to the largest (reception room, restaurant room, etc.). Presented for the first time at the Milan Triennale during Design Week, the Elipson Sound Tree musical tree is part of a desire to develop a collection of "Haute Couture" sound objects. The cabinet and speakers thus adopt a very beautiful lacquered finish, the speakers receiving a very beautiful aluminum speaker protection grille. The Elipson Sound Tree is a 3-way audio system, consisting of a subwoofer dedicated to low frequencies and 12 spherical speakers responsible for reproducing medium and high frequencies. The latter are equipped with a 10 cm coaxial speaker with a 20 mm tweeter positioned in its center. The whole is powered by an original Bang & Olufsen Ice Power amplification which combines a high power reserve and very good dynamic qualities.Unparalleled in the world of prestige audio, the Elipson Sound Tree is an astonishing and terribly seductive sound object.HighlightsInnovative designModularityNeat finishIce Power Amplification (B&O)

Elipson BS50 Tribute (pair)A true tribute to Elipson's expertise and history, the BS50 Tribute speaker revives the model that made the brand famous in the 1950s, the BS50. From the studios of the Maison de la Radio to the living rooms of the most demanding audiophiles, it had been an exceptional solution since its launch, combining form and function with a design that has now become iconic. For Elipson's 70th anniversary, the BS50 Tribute takes up the solutions used by its predecessor. More than a speaker offering superb musicality, enthusiasts will appreciate the extraordinary design of this iconic object. The Elipson BS50 Tribute speaker illustrates the brand's taste for innovation and passion for design. The brand had managed to combine the two with the original BS50, a feature carried over to the BS50 Tribute. It features a spherical housing with an internal resonator. A design that meets a requirement for sound signal fidelity since it limits internal vibrations that can generate artificial colorations. Also on the program, a coaxial speaker placed at the top of the sphere and which also presents many advantages. Indeed, such an architecture offers excellent coherence of timbres and flawless homogeneity of registers. With a generous diameter of 200 mm, the bass response is particularly effective since the Elipson BS50 Tribute can go down to 40 Hz. For its part, the 25 mm fabric dome tweeter offers perfectly defined treatment of high frequencies up to 20 kHz.The other major feature of the Elipson BS50 Tribute is of course its shell-shaped acoustic reflector that overhangs the speaker. Originally, it was developed to compensate for the low power of amplifiers contemporary to the original BS50. Today, this appendage retains all its assets by concentrating the sound waves before sending them back to the listener. Enough to restore a homogeneous and precisely defined sound scene, with exceptional breadth.

Building on the success of the highly acclaimed Planet L, Elipson is introducing a miniature version of this iconic spherical model: the Planet M.Although more compact, the Planet M features a 10 cm driver and, accordingly, a sealed enclosure. Such small drivers weren't designed to deliver deep bass, as the choice has been made to exclusively restitute the upper bass register (down to 90 Hz). The use of a subwoofer is highly recommended, such as the Elipson Planet Sub, specially developed for this purpose. The spherical enclosure offers the undeniable advantage of eliminating resonance while allowing the speaker to express itself in optimal conditions. Its coaxial structure promotes a particularly precise and enveloping sound stage. The silk dome tweeter is very smooth and provides the highlighting required for good depth, without ever being intrusive. Sounds are neutral and silky. The finish is absolutely gorgeous, with a beautiful lacquered effect and a metal grill. The Planet M are indisputably elegant decorative objects, which you can showcase using the optional wall and ceiling mounts.
