High-end streamer Magnat´s MMS 730 offers the complete variety of media you could wish for today. From Spotify to Internet radio, to accessing audio files on a home network, it is capable of managing everything – all conveniently via an app. In addition, there are also DAB+ and FM receivers on board, each of which has 40 memory slots, as well as Bluetooth connectivity in the optimum aptX HD standard. Storage media with a capacity of up to 8 GB can be easily connected via the front USB port. All of this is packaged in a sturdy metal housing with a solid, brushed aluminum front panel. Stereo high-end hybrid integrated amplifier The combination of tube and transistor technology has a long tradition at Magnat. After all, it combines an optimum sound with an impressive performance. The MA 900 is no different. It scores highly with its impressive technical values, extensive configuration and optimum workmanship, as well as its minimalist design. Full-power performance - 200 watts x 2 While the selected and burned-in ECC 81 high-end tubes take care of amplifying the fine input signals and generate the inimitable tube sound, the power transistors ensure a solid continuous output of 200 watts of sine power per channel. The pulse power produced is an impressive 320 watts. 5 analogue low-level inputs and a 3.5 mm jack input at the front of the unit, as well as 4 digital inputs and a phono input for MM and MC systems, all guarantee connectivity for even the most extensive AV systems. Tablets, smartphones and computers can also be connected via Bluetooth with optimum sound quality thanks to the aptX HD standard. MAGNAT MA 900 – TRADITION MEETS MODERNITY The combination of melodious tubes in the preamplifier unit together with powerful transistors turns the MA 900 into a hybrid amplifier; a product category that is rare but has a long tradition at Magnat. High power performance with great spatial representation One of the 42 mm tweeter cones is located on each sloping side at the centre of the powerful 17 cm subwoofers: The Cinema Ultra RD 200-THX follows the ideal structure of classic dipole speakers. The two tweeters are – as stipulated by THX® – connected together with reversed polarity to produce a diffuse, very three-dimensional soundscape. Because our cone operates in an extremely wide band, the Cinema Ultra RD 200-THX creates this desired diffuse sound field from as low as 1500 hertz. Full-size retro floorstanding speaker with 15" woofer and dynamic tweeter horn The Magnat Transpuls 1500 is equipped with classic components of this loudspeaker category, but developed using modern development tools such as our Klippel® laser measuring system. The premier class calibre of 38 cm/15 inches has been used in the woofer. We did not want to compromise on size at the heart of the Transpuls 1500. Top model with 4-way components The Signature 507 is just as slim as the 505, but a bit higher at 1030 mm. The increased size is due to the dual woofer used, with the result that the 507 has a 170 mm bass-midrange unit as well as woofers of the same size, enabling it to reproduce correspondingly lower frequencies. It does, of course, also have the Hi-Res certified dual tweeter module with 2 fmax domes. The front panel with its integrated wave guides also optimizes the dispersion characteristics. Like all the speakers in the Signature 500 range, the sturdiest possible connection terminals are used, which allows the best cables to be used, as well as facilitating bi-wiring or bi-amping operation. It goes without saying that the 507 is suitable both as a stereo speaker and as a front channel in a home cinema system. 2.5-way bass reflex floorstanding speaker with a fully-fledged configuration Anyone who has ever wondered whether there are any multi-functional and fully active speakers in fully-fledged dimensions can now answer their question with a resounding yes. With the same front width as the 3A, the Monitor Reference 5A stands 908 mm tall, making it a full-size floorstanding speaker. This format leaves you in no doubt as to whether you have a real hi-fi system in front of you. COMPACT, BUT WITH A SOUND OF A MUCH LARGER MODEL The tweeter dome measures 25 mm (like its siblings) and is driven by the tried and tested, powerful ferrite magnet. Underneath there are two 170 mm chassis. One caters for the all-important vocal range as a bass-midrange driver, while the second is designed purely for reproducing the deep bass range. The use of materials really makes an impact here - the floorstanding speaker of the Monitor Reference series delves right down to a frequency of 28 Hz. Nevertheless, the 5A boasts a slim visual appearance and can therefore be set up in any living room environment. There is even more amplifier power on board here: Each channel has 60 watts of continuous power (or 120 watts of peak power).
