FraimLite is a stripped back version of Naim's reference Fraim, and operates on the same principles, providing a rigid, self-levelling platform for supported hi-fi equipment that isolates hi-fi separates from each other and their environment. Its simplified design results in a more affordable and simpler-to-set-up equipment support system that still looks stunning in a modern domestic listening room.FraimLite consists of individual levels that are placed one upon another and which can be added or completely changed in configuration as the equipment is upgraded. With defined dispersion characteristics for perfect Dolby Atmos surround sound Dolby also imposes extremely strict requirements to ensure that the demanding multi-channel procedure can generate perfect reproduction. The dispersion characteristics and position of the add-on loudspeakers are important. A subwoofer with an integrated tweeter, a so-called coaxial driver, is the best option here. The Cinema Ultra AEH 400-ATM is a coax with a 13 cm bass plus 25 mm tweeter cone and is a perfect fit, in terms of both external appearance and installation depth, on top of an LCR 100-THX – which is also where it should be according to the Dolby guidelines. For those cases where home cinema fans prefer to mount the excellent sounding AEH 400-ATM on the wall or ceiling, we have, instead of the frequency response optimised for ceiling reflection as stipulated by Dolby, included a second crossover for linear reproduction which can be activated via a toggle switch. The largest model for wall installation is the Signature IWT 262, which features two 16 cm woofers and a tweeter. The heavy-duty built-in speaker is ideal for use in a demanding stereo environment or as a front speaker (L/C/R) in a home cinema setup. Thanks to its balanced dispersion properties, it can be used in both a vertical and horizontal configuration. The latter version makes it perfect for installation underneath projector screens and flat screen TVs. A rather low installation depth of just 100 mm ensures an uncomplicated installation process, even in rooms where space is at a premium. The treble level can be adjusted in three stages, which allows the sound to be adapted to different room acoustics. Thanks to the powerful integrated amplifier electronics with its 2 x 120 watt output and the wide range of connection options, the stereo speaker set becomes a fully-fledged hi-fi system that masters all facets of modern music sources. Bluetooth connectivity allows the Transpuls to be connected to smartphones and tablets, while the HDMI input makes it the perfect addition to a TV set. What's more, the digital input also supports the playback of high-resolution audio. Of course, it can also handle analog signals as well and the RCA input with switchable phono stage will raise the heart rate of all vinyl fans, as it means they can finally provide their favorite source with the corresponding acoustic expertise complete with matching retro look. Magnat Transpuls 800A – Compact, but not small Measuring just 385 mm in height, 240 mm in width and 215 mm in depth, the Transpuls 800A will fit easily on any shelf. It should still be sturdy, however, because firstly the set weighs x.x kg and secondly, its dynamic capabilities require a robust installation location. The dark wood decor housing, as well as the baffle and removable black fabric cover should by no means be interpreted as attempts to be discreet. That's definitely not the character of the Transpuls 800A. The precisely calculated geometry of the horn tweeter, which is a feature of the Transpuls series, delivers a brutal pulse fidelity. And the bass range is in no way inferior, because the 170 mm hardened paper cone with PA fabric mount also ensures a purely dynamic performance. In addition, there are also selected components in the crossover and sturdy connecting terminals to boot. The Transpuls may give the impression of a shelf speaker, but inside beats the rocky, musical heart of a fully-fledged hi-fi system.
