The LH-10000 is an exceptionally high quality headshell made using a high performance Aluminum alloy with Zinc as the primary alloying element. The Aluminum alloy used for LH-10000 is strong, with strength comparable to steel. It has good fatigue strength and machinability, but offers more resistance to corrosion than many other Aluminum alloys. LH-10000 features a precision machined slit on the top plate. A piece of Ortofon's special proprietary TPE (Thermo-Plastic Elastomer) compound with excellent damping properties is integrated into the slit. LH-10000 incorporates damping technology similar to the Ortofon TA-110 / TA-210 tonearms and the Xpression cartridge, promoting a further reduction in unwanted resonances. LH-10000 is fitted with the set of the most sophisticated lead wires identical to Ortofon LW-800S, composed of pure silver and silver coated wire. Silver coated wire transmits the very clear high tone signals, which brings the brilliant tonality. The AT-HS6 is a universal ½"-mount headshell for 4-pin turntable cartridges. It features an ultra-lightweight (9 g) aluminum die-cast body to keep vibration to a minimum and a finger lift to enable precise stylus placement. The headshell comes with color-coded lead wires and mounting screws.

The AT-ART1000 (“ART” for Audio-Technica Reference Transducer) is Audio-Technica’s new flagship phono cartridge, handmade in Japan. Born of the pursuit of audio excellence that has driven A-T for more than 50 years, the AT-ART1000 introduces an innovative, audiophile design heretofore unseen in mass-produced cartridges. The cartridge’s direct power system places the dual moving coil directly on top of the stylus tip, ensuring that the audio quality does not suffer the negative effects normally introduced by the cantilever's length and material type. Having the coils move in such close proximity to the stylus tip allows the cartridge to vividly render even the most subtle sonic details and provide unsurpassed transient response. Each of the cartridge’s two coils is constructed of 20 ìm diameter PCOCC (Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting) wire, wound eight turns to a diameter of 0.9 mm to create a non-magnetic core coil. The 3-ohm coils are placed in the tiny 0.6 mm gap of a powerful magnetic circuit, enabling each coil to generate an output voltage of 0.2 mV. The AT-ART1000 features the same high-performance line contact stylus and solid boron cantilever found in the AT-OC9/III, enabling the cartridge to faithfully trace the record groove and reliably transfer the signal to the coils. The base that supports the specialized magnetic circuit and vibration system is made from titanium. This sturdy base is instrumental in providing consistent playback, and works in combination with the cartridge’s hard plastic cover and aluminum housing to disperse resonance that negatively affects the sound quality. *The AT-ART1000’s stylus assembly is not field-replaceable, but Audio-Technica offers a fee-based Cartridge Rebuild Program. Under this program, Audio-Technica will replace all assembly parts, including the stylus tip, cantilever, coils, and rubber dampers.

An update of the AT-ART7, the AT-ART9XA non-magnetic core MC cartridge features a Shibata stylus on a 0.28 mm diameter solid boron cantilever. The “ART” in the model number stands for Audio-Technica Reference Transducer, a designation that we give only to our flagship phono cartridges. Compared with the magnetic core used in most MC cartridges, non-magnetic core cartridges are free from magnetic distortion, allowing for natural timbre and a precise sound field. Although conventional non-magnetic cores struggle with output voltage, the AT-ART9XA features a newly designed coil armature with an improved output voltage of 0.2 mV (1 kHz, 5 cm/sec). The dual moving coils (fashioned from high-performance PCOCC wire) are aligned in an inverted V shape to provide high separation and wide response. The stylus is mounted on a tapered boron cantilever with a double damper for reduced weight and better audio quality.
