EAT's E-Flat is a new, forward-thinking turntable supplied with a revolutionary flat tonearm. Although flat arms have been seen in the past, none have been able to offer the rigidity necessary to deliver the stable performance expected of modern tonearms. Thanks to the continued evolution of carbon fibre, Forte has been able to create an arm with the practical and aesthetic benefits of a flat form, but without the weaknesses.E-Flat's mission is to bring to the music lover the highest quality performance, but in a user-friendly design. Ultra-flat, ultra-light and ultra-rigid, the E-Flat tonearm measures 10in long. A unipivot bearing supports the E-Flat, its fully (and easily) adjustable counterweight decoupled by energy- and vibration-absorbing Sorbothane. The E-Flat's unipivot system is extremely precise and accurately balanced, thanks to components endowed with especially hard metal surfaces. Unwanted motion often attributed to lesser unipivot designs is eliminated by the high mass of unipivot housing and the added security of two metal guides.A further valuable benefit is that its carbon-fibre arm "tube" can be changed by the user to address to specific cartridge requirements, with either lighter or heavier tubes to establish different arm/cartridge resonant frequencies. Adjustable anti-skating and a damped cueing lever are also fitted.A flat arm tube opens up a number of possibilities for the designer – and the listener. Its shape encourages the design of a flatter platter with easier, visible arm levelling, and there is no taper to accommodate. With perfect integration to the unipivot design pillar, no hollow tube to suffer the inevitable echo effects or ringing, greater stiffness, a new and superior hanging counterweight design with very high damping properties, the E-Flat tonearm's performance is truly quiet and incredibly "fast."This handsome and innovative arm is fitted to a turntable that adheres to the basic principles established by the existing models in the Forte family. A belt-drive design, it features two motors, like its 'bigger sisters'. The two motors do not run in parallel, but act like a virtual 24-pole motor. The belt encircles an inner sub-platter, which is fitted with inside bearing made out of bronze bushings. The main platter rests on an inverted bearing and a ceramic ball, with a Teflon lining on the underside of the main platter. As with the larger Forte record decks, the diameter of the platter is oversized compared to those on most competitors' turntables. 33cm was chosen because the moving mass is twice that of a standard 30cm platter. Forte fits a vinyl mat made of recycled LP records to create a surface with properties sympathetic to the LPs it supports. The platter is filled underneath with Sorbothane to stop resonance, while Sorbothane is also used to damp the bearing housing, tonearm base and magnetic feet. In addition to the isolation provided by the magnetic feet, the bearing assembly and platter aperture are suspended. Also in common with the dearer Forte turntables, the Forte E-Flat exhibits an ideal balance between mass-loading and thoughtful subchassis design. Building on the success of the highly acclaimed Planet L, Elipson is introducing a miniature version of this iconic spherical model: the Planet M. Although more compact, the Planet M features a 10 cm driver and, accordingly, a sealed enclosure. Such small drivers weren't designed to deliver deep bass, as the choice has been made to exclusively restitute the upper bass register (down to 90 Hz). The use of a subwoofer is highly recommended, such as the Elipson Planet Sub, specially developed for this purpose. The spherical enclosure offers the undeniable advantage of eliminating resonance while allowing the speaker to express itself in optimal conditions. Its coaxial structure promotes a particularly precise and enveloping sound stage. The silk dome tweeter is very smooth and provides the highlighting required for good depth, without ever being intrusive. Sounds are neutral and silky. The finish is absolutely gorgeous, with a beautiful lacquered effect and a metal grill. The Planet M are indisputably elegant decorative objects, which you can showcase using the optional wall and ceiling mounts. High End, no compromise components and build quality• Built in many details according to the vintage U47 including the polar pattern switch below the grille and switchable capsule head• A -10 dB PAD switch on the power supply for high SPL instrument recordings like kick drum• Hand Made in small series• Capsules selected with very tight tolerances• Point-to point wiring with silver-plated copper wire, a printed circuit board is only used for the ground connections• All soldering points made with Mudorf Msolder Supreme SilverGold solder (Sn88, 6Cu, 1,8Ag, 9,5Au)• Solid wood microphone box, tweed style system flight case. Every mic, box and psu has a badge with the serial numberThe Neumann U-47 was produced between 1949 and 1965 meaning that the vintage original units are now very old and their performance do differ a lot depending on their condition. The different clones all have their specific sound character too. So, it´s not easy to say which sound is “the right one”. As always, not the least as far as microphones goes, it will ultimately be a matter of taste. Does the world need one more U-47 clone? The GA-47 microphone as the first product in Golden Age Projects new high end line, changing “Project” to “Premier” for this product range, the answer is “Yes!”.The Golden Age Premier GA-47 has been born from a lot of hard work and real world testing. The end result is a microphone with a very sweet character that should appeal to a great number of users and a microphone that can be used for the most demanding recording tasks. It has proved itself to be a great allrounder, this is not a “vocal-only” microphone. The GA-47 is not a product that will be built in huge quantities on a big assembly line. It´s a product that is built by hand, fifty units at a time in a small workshop by a skilled and dedicated staff. It uses very high quality components all the way to achieve the desired goal, allowing me to answer “yes!” to the rephrased question mentioned above. The capsule for the GA-47 is designed to provide the requirements of modern day recordings by mixing the character between a vintage K47 capsule and the one from a K67-style capsule with a wide frequency response and high sensitivity. The result is a truly great sound.

The classic C800G is the only tube microphone in the world equipped with a semiconductor active cooling system that results in a higher signal-to-noise ratio compared to most other tube microphones. It has a very high-quality modern sound performance. The Golden Age Premier GA-800G is currently the only microphone to fully reproduce the C800G. It´s appearance and structure, as well as accessories and circuit principles, including its sound character, strictly follows the original design. All of the parts including the power plug and the pin definition of the power supply are the same as in the original C800G. Even though its based on the original, the circuit board has been upgraded to a ROGERS ceramic circuit board that has superior insulation parameters and offers a more stable performance. The coupling and bypass capacitors has also been upgraded, resulting in a deeper and more exact low frequency performance and a more delicate and transparent high frequency reproduction. The classic semiconductor active cooling and external cooling system from the C800G is also used in the GA-800G. This is to ensure that the GA-800G has the highest possible signal-to-noise ratio. The tube (a 6AU6) is mounted in an aluminum casing, with the semiconductor cooling chip being attached to the bottom of the case. The temperature of the tube in the GA-800G is the effectively kept down when the GA-800G is in it´s working state, the heat generated by the tube is actively dissipated. The heat that the tube generates is transferred to the reverse side of the semiconductor and transferred to the effective outer aluminum alloy heat sink at the rear of the microphone. This heat sink will then dissipate the heat from semiconductor cooling chip to the air surrounding the GA-800G.PCB board: A ROGERS ceramic gold-plated circuit board is used. This type of circuit board is usually used in high-end aerospace communication products, the cost is about twenty (20!) times higher than an ordinary PCB board.Capsule: By disassembling a C800G and handing it´s capsule to a manufacturer with more than twenty years of microphone capsule production experience, they were able to produce a capsule that matched the characteristics of the original one. The capsule used in the GA-800G can handle a higher sound pressure level than the original one and it has almost the same sound character.Tube: In order to ensure the tube will have a long life, we are using a NOS CIFTE 6AU6 tube from France, it has a maximum anode voltage rating of about 300V. The tube in this circuit has an anode voltage of 90V and will generate more heat than tubes in many other tube microphones that typically uses voltages between 35-50V. The higher voltage used in the GA-800G increases the heat dissipation so the semiconductor active cooling system is an important element in the design.Power supply: The classic 800G uses two 6AU6 tubes as rectifiers for the high voltage rail, they work as pseudo diodes by connecting all grids to the anode that outputs about 290V.After a lot of listening tests comparing a tube rectifying circuit with a solid state one, we found that we did prefer the sound of the latter so this is what we decided to use. The additional advantage is that there is no need to worry about replacing tubes in the power supply.Capacitors, resistors and solder: The metal resistors and electrolytic capacitor from Japan are of special audiophile audio types. The coupling capacitors are Siemens EPCOS from Germany. The connecting wires inside the GA-800G are oxygen-free copper wires from Japan. The solder is FELDER silver/copper-containing solder from Germany.Shockmount: Rycote USM-VB

Hugo 2 is a powerful DAC and headphone amp that builds on the ground-breaking original. Designed for both home and mobile use, Hugo 2 transforms headphones and audio systems’ sound quality with its cutting-edge proprietary DAC technology. In 2014, we introduced Hugo, a revolutionary portable DAC and headphone amp that became a landmark product in the audio landscape. Advances in digital technology, including the latest FPGAs and WTA (Watts Transient Aligned) filters, have enabled us to introduce a next-generation version, Hugo 2, featuring flexible new features, plus next-generation technical and sonic performance. Hugo 2 can be used both at home and on-the-go, either with headphones or within a conventional audio system. Its line-level output and full-function remote control adds real flexibility in full-size and desktop systems. The device offers four digital inputs (optical, coaxial and HD USB) plus extended-range Bluetooth, with high-resolution file playback up to 768kHz and up to DSD512 (Octa DSD), via its HD USB input. Analogue outputs include 2x RCA, plus 3.5mm and 6.35mm headphone outputs. A four-function switch filter offers a useful degree of user-selectable frequency-shaping, bringing warm and soft or transparent and incisive presentations, giving additional flexibility and user control. For headphone-listening, Hugo 2 retains the popular digital crossfeed function of the original and offers three operation modes. The system duplicates the effect of listening to speakers and is based on advanced binaural audio research. Hugo 2 features four spherical control buttons, which illuminate with colour-coding information and control power, input, filtering, plus the unit’s crossfeed functions. Battery playing time is around seven hours and two modes of automatic charging are included using the dedicated Micro USB charging port; an indicator shows charging and battery-charge status. Technical specifications: Chipset: Chord Electronics custom coded Xilinx Artix 7 (XC7A15T) FPGA Tap-length: 49,152 Pulse array: 10 element pulse array design Frequency response: 20Hz – 20kHz +/- 0.2dB Output stage: Class A Output impedance: 0.025Ω THD:
