Φτιαγμένο από τον ίδιο τον Chris Muth που σχεδίασε τον εξοπλισμό mastering για πολλά από τα καλύτερα στούντιο mastering της Ν.Υόρκης και τους διασημότερους mastering engineers, το Dangerous Master αποτελεί το κέντρο ενός απίστευτου συστήματος mastering. Δένει μεταξύ τους τα equalizer της επιλογής σας, τους κομπρέσορες και τα de-essors παρέχοντας ακριβή έλεγχο στάθμεων, εύκολο monitoring, επεξεργασία matrix και  στέρεο  image control, όλα σε ένα  2 RU.Το συμπεριλαμβανόμενο Input Monitor Offset σας επιτρέπει την συγκέντρωση στον ήχο του master χωρίς να ξεγελιέστε από τη διαφορά στάθμεως προ και μετά επεξεργασίας. Γραφικό EQ, αρχικά δημιουργήθηκε για χρήση στις API κονσόλες της δεκαετίας του '60 και του '70, η επανέκδοση του API 560 είναι μια μοναδική συσκευή με σκοπό να πραγματοποιήσει καθήκοντα που κανένα άλλο EQ δεν μπορεί.Παράγει τον μοναδικό API  ήχο, εύκολο φιλτράρισμα, και high headroom σε μια μικρή συσκευασία. Το API 512C είναι ένα mic/line/instrument προενισχυτής σχεδιασμένος με σκοπό να παρέχει χαμηλό θόρυβο και ακουστικά καλό front end για όλα τα συστήματα ήχου. Το R2 είναι αρκετά διαφορετικό από την σειρά μικροφώνων R 1. Το διάφραγμά του έχει σχήμα και συναρμολόγηση που δεν θα μπορούσε να γίνει παλιότερα. Κάποιος θα μπορούσε να πει ότι είναι ένα σύγχρονο ribbon μικρόφωνο με vintage ήχο. Αυτή η σχεδίαση έχει καλύτερη απόκριση στις υψηλές συχνότητες και αποδίδει υψηλότερου επιπέδου σήμα εξόδου. Το A2D είναι το πρώτο προϊόν της API  που παράγεται με ενσωματωμένο digital output. Αναγνωρίζοντας την επιθυμία για μια υψηλής ποιότητας λύση να αυξήσουμε τα σήματα μικροφώνων σε ένα λειτουργικό line level, κατασκευάσαμε ένα από τα δημοφιλέστερα mic preamp σχέδια μας μαζί με το νέο αποκλειστικό αναλογικό σε ψηφιακό μετατροπέα.Το αποτέλεσμα είναι μια πλήρης συσκευασία - έναν θαυμάσιο mic preamps που τροφοδοτεί ένα τμήμα A/D με standard digital interface outputs, multiple sample-rate choices, και internal or external clock options. Το D1 είναι εμπνευσμένο από τα κλασσικά δυναμικά μικρόφωνα της δεκαετίας του '50. Αν σκέφτεστε ότι αυτό το είδος του μικροφώνου έχει σχεδιασθεί για ζωντανά φωνητικά μόνο, κάνετε λάθος. Το διάφραγμά του είναι πολύ ευαίσθητο και με μεγάλη αντοχή κάνοντας το D1 ιδανική επιλογή για ηχογραφήσεις ηλεκτρικών οργάνων, toms & snares, και φυσικά φωνών. Με μεγάλη και καθαρή στάθμη εξόδου το D1 μπορεί να τροφοδοτήσει της περισσότερες πεταλιέρες και επεξεργαστές υπέροχα . Δουλεύει επίσης πολύ καλά ζωντανά σε live ή στο προβάδικο.

Το FC 1 MKII σχεδιάστηκε με βάση τα κλασικά πυκνωτικά μικρόφωνα μεγάλου διαφράγματος. Θελήσαμε να φτιάξουμε ένα μικρόφωνο με μερικά από τα χαρακτηριστικά των παλαιών, καλών γερμανικών μοντέλων. Το FC 1 έχει center-terminated κάψα που προσθέτει αρμονικές και γλυκύτητα στον ήχο. Ο σχεδιασμός αυτός δίνει στο μικρόφωνο την δυνατότητα να επεξεργαστεί δυνατότερους ήχους χωρίς τραχύτητα ή άλλα προβλήματα. Ο μετασχηματιστής εξόδου μπορεί να επεξεργαστεί τα μπάσα εξαιρετικά καλά και να παράγει έναν πολύ παχύ ήχο, που μόνο λυχνίες και μετασχηματιστές μπορούν να αποδώσουν. Το ρετρό στυλ του FC 1 είναι σχεδιασμένο για να αποδώσει τη μέγιστη ποιότητα ήχου με όσο το δυνατόν περισσότερες ηχητικές πηγές, σε μια τιμή που ο καθένας μπορεί να διαθέσει. Το FC 4 είναι ένα χαμηλού κόστους, μικρoύ διαφράγματος, transformerless πυκνωτικό μικρόφωνο με χαμηλού θορύβου Α τάξης ηλεκτρονικά. Διάφραγμα με καρδιοϊδές πολικό διάγραμμα και μεγάλη ευαισθησία.  Τα χαρακτηριστικά του FC 4 είναι ιδανικά για πολλών ειδών ηχογράφησης και live. Θα πιάσει τη «ατάκα» της αγαπημένης κιθάρας σας, κάθε λεπτομέρεια του ακουστικού πιάνου σας, την πολυπλοκότητα μιας καθαρής ηλεκτρικής κιθάρας, την ακατέργαστη δύναμη της παραμόρφωσης του ενισχυτή, κ.λπ.  Εξοπλισμένο με high-pass φίλτρο και διακόπτη pad. Αυτό τον καθιστά επίσης κατάλληλο για δυνατούς ήχους και ακόμη και φωνητικές ηχογραφήσεις.

Το SF-12 stereo coincident ribbon μικρόφωνο Είναι ένα σύγχρονο ribbon design χωρίς ευδιάκριτα εφέ διάθλασης ή αντήχηση κοιλοτήτων. Το SF-12 είναι στην πραγματικότητα δύο ribbon μικρόφωνα τοποθετημένα το ένα πάνω από το άλλο, καθένα στοιχισμένο 45 βαθμούς από το κέντρο στην κλασική διαμόρφωση Blumlein. Η απόκριση συχνότητας είναι άριστη ανεξάρτητα από τη γωνία του ήχου και ο εκτός άξονα χρωματισμός είναι αμελητέος. Το SF-12 χρησιμοποιεί δύο 1.8-micron ribbons, που το καθένα ζυγίζει περίπου 1/3 milligram και παράγει θαυμάσια παροδική απάντηση. Οι δύο μετατροπείς είναι δομές κομματιού μαγνήτες/πόλοι που παράγουν μια ευρεία , ομοιόμορφη συχνότητα απόκρισης χωρίς ουσιαστικά  peaks. Το καλώδιο επέκτασης έρχεται με έναν αντάπτορα Υ που διαχωρίζει σε 3 αρσενικά XLR ονομαζόμενα "Upper" and "Lower", για τις πάνω και κάτω κάψες του μικροφώνου (όταν κρατιέται κάθετα). 

Το R-122V σχεδιάστηκε αρχικά το 2001 ως συγκριτική μέτρηση επιδόσεων του R-122. Μετά από τέσσερα χρόνια πρόσθετης ανάπτυξης εξελίχθηκε σε ένα παγκόσμιας ποιότητας ribbon μικρόφωνο με ασύγκριτο όγκο, βάθος και λεπτομέρεια, ειδικά στις μεσαίες συχνότητες. Το R-122V προσφέρει την καλύτερη απόδοση σε μικρόφωνο ribbon για εκείνους που δεν συμβιβάζονται με τίποτα λιγότερο. Το R-122V φέρνει την πρωτοπόρα τεχνολογία της Royer σε ένα πρωτοφανές επίπεδο μέσα από την ενσωμάτωση vacuum tube electronics στο ίδιο αποδεδειγμένο σύστημα μετατροπέων που χρησιμοποιείται στα διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένα R-121 και  R-122 ribbon μικρόφωνα Η υψηλή τάση του vacuum tube παρέχει headroom πέρα από κάθε προηγούμενο – γεγονός που σημαίνει απίστευτη σαφήνεεια, λεπτομέρεια και ελαφρότητα. 

Για πολλούς ο καλύτερος προενισχυτής μικροφώνων σε παραγωγή ο m802 βασίζεται στον περίφημο προενισχυτή model 801R που αντικαθιστά, τον οποίο οι καλύτεροι τεχνικοί ήχου στη μουσική βιομηχανία , στον κινηματογράφο, το P/A αλλά και μουσικές σχολές χρησιμοποιούν επί χρόνια για την υψηλή του απόδοση και την αξιοπιστία του. O νέος προενισχυτής m802 έχει πολλές σημαντικές αναβαθμίσεις που όχι μόνο το διαχωρίζουν από τον αγαπημένο του προκάτοχο, αλλά και από οποιονδήποτε άλλο προενισχυτή μικροφώνου υψηλής απόδοσης υπάρχει. RUBICON VOKAL is the ultimate centre loudspeaker. Striking an elegant balance between size and performance, the RUBICON VOKAL is powerful enough to match the RUBICON 8, and still compact enough to fit in most living rooms. The two 6½” low-loss wood fibre woofers deliver a clear and well defined mid-range together with the hybrid tweeter module. It also uses the same soft dome diaphragm and many of the same SMC technologies as used in the EPICON series. Featuring two 6 ½“ bass woofers, the unique Linear Drive Magnet System as well as the breakthrough ribbon/soft dome hybrid tweeter the sound breaks with traditional loudspeaker conventions.The EPICON 6 relies on a 2½-way system as – compared to the EPICON 2 – it features an additional woofer kicking in below 600Hz. However, for the highest frequencies the EPICON 6 also incorporates a ribbon tweeter as part of the hybrid tweeter, in reality turning the speaker into a ‘2½ + ½-way’ construction. SMC - Linear Drive Magnet SystemFor years designing magnet systems has been a DALI specialty. For the EPICON 6 we decided to challenge the highest market standards and to take magnet system design further than ever before in order to reduce distortion generated from less than perfect magnet systems. The answer turned out to be a Soft Magnetic Compound (SMC) material which offers exactly the right physical properties: Very high magnetic conductivity and very low electrical conductivity (approx. 1/10.000’s of iron). The result is a dramatic reduction in distortion caused by mechanical loss in the magnet system. The high magnetic conductivity is instrumental in more or less eliminating the frequency depended effect of hysteresis. The electrical non-conductive nature of the SMC material eliminates the induction of modulating magnet fields in the magnet gab and significantly lowers the eddy current on the pole piece caused by the movement of the voice coil. The resulting reduction of distortion is both very clearly measurable and indeed audible. HYBRID TWEETERFor a transparent and solid rendering of even the most subtle high frequency details the finest DALI hybrid tweeter module is employed in the EPICON 6. The module consists of a newly developed 29 mm ultra lightweight dome tweeter and a 10 x 55 mm ribbon tweeter. Working in unison, the soft dome tweeter and the ribbon tweeter form the ideal high frequency solution. Combining the advantages of each tweeter’s unique properties is a technology which DALI has spent years in perfecting. Low resonance frequency, high power handling, and exceptional headroom for high sound pressure levels and extreme excursions are all characteristics of the oversized soft dome tweeter. Incorporating an ultra-thin magnetic fluid for cooling, the fluid has a very high flux saturation point for greater power handling. This also means superb control of coil movement – even at very high sound pressure levels. The ribbon tweeter features a broad frequency band and superb dispersion in the higher frequencies. Gently rolled in above 10 kHz, the ribbon reaches full contribution from 15 kHz to well beyond 30 kHz, far above the audible range. Both the soft dome and the ribbon tweeter are free of artefacts, e.g. resonances and high Q peaks within their working range. The Hybrid Tweeter Module features an extremely smooth and wide horizontal dispersion – one of our sound design trademarks. Even the detailing of the faceplate of the tweeter module is designed for optimal horizontal dispersion. WOOFERWith the background of in-depth loudspeaker driver design for years, and having engineers with loudspeaker drivers manufacturing experience in-house, DALI started up the process of establishing in-house production of drivers in 2009. Today we are proud to present the result: DALI EPICON 6 woofers are not only developed - but also manufactured at the DALI headquarters in Denmark. At DALI we believe in designs based on low mechanical loss. Actually we were among the first to insist on controlling the frequency response by carefully balanced designs. We want the amplifier voltage and current to be the factor to control the frequency response by carefully balanced designs. The wood fibre technology has proven to be a key in reproducing the finest details and dynamics in the music with very low loss of information. Wood fibres add stiffness to very light paper cone membranes, ensuring non-uniform break-up characteristics within the material. The result is a structural stiffness showing top-class behaviour. The wood fibre cone terminates in a low-loss rubber surround that is fitted to a die cast aluminium chassis. Assembly of the cone, surround, voice coil and chassis is done in highly accurate tools for the maximum alignment accuracy. CABINETWorking both as an acoustic tuned ‘spring’ for the drivers, as well as getting rid of reaction force (resonant) energy, the cabinet is an important part of the entire speaker system. A rigid construction is necessary to optimize the working environment for both woofers and tweeter. The front baffle, sides and top of the EPICON 6 are heated in a process that allows us to press it into an organic shape. This design increases overall rigidity and severely reduces cabinet resonances. Furthermore standing waves are practically eliminated as there are no parallel surfaces reflecting sound waves. With a thickness of 33 mm the dual-layer front baffle ensures that energy from the drivers is radiated as acoustic energy, and not as vibrations in the cabinet. The curved shape of the front baffle is also a contributing factor in ensuring a stable acoustic platform. At the very bottom of the cabinet, you will see that the hardwired crossover is mounted in its own enclosure - free from the dynamic variation of cabinet pressure inside the bass reflex enclosures. The finish of the cabinet is real wood veneer which is lacquered for a total of 10 times. And in between, each layer is hand polished to ensure a deep, high gloss and elegant surface. 10 times of lacquer also ensures a sturdy finish with a thickness of almost 2 mm.
