The MB2S XBD is a development of the successful MB2S with increased dynamics and LF performance. The addition of the XBD cabinet containing a second precision 12” Radial™ driver increases the LF headroom by 3dB below 380Hz that allows a larger room to be driven to greater effect. In a surround configuration the added headroom of the XBD allows the .1 surround effects channel to be handled with ease, avoiding the installation of further sub units. The MB2 XBD features in many quality conscious facilities including Studio Hilversum – The Netherlands. The 32 element, 4th order passive crossovers are housed in external enclosures which can be mounted to the rear of the XBD cabinets for improved fidelity. The MB2S is perfect for mid sized control rooms either soffit mounted or on its custom studio stands. The MB2S allows higher SPL’s without distortion and loss of definition normally associated with a device of its size. The IB1S is an extremely flexible 3-way monitor, which has found its home in the most varied of environments. Commonly seen in Mastering, Broadcast and Postproduction in either stereo or surround when partnered with its dedicated centre channel and SB100 sub bass system. The goal was to eliminate the edging effect by carefully shaping the tweeter surrounding with specially designed Belgian foam. 8. A low-order crossover for the best phase response. We also selected the lowest possible crossover point to deliver the best transient response. 9. Premium quality crossover parts. Foil Inductors wound on a wooden core - with their skin effect conductivity - provide performance unmatched by less expensive wire wound coils, and provide much lower coloration than iron core inductors. We also use non-inductive resistors, premium audiophile grade capacitors and special flat, Super OFC internal wires. 10. Matching internal dampening design. Internal dampening is outsourced and precut to absolutely identical shape and weight for the best speaker-to-speaker consistency. 11. Ταυτόχρονα υπάρχει η δυνατότητα προσθήκης ενός η δύο ηχείων μεσομπάσσων με 3 woofer 7" ανα καμπίνα που το κάθε ένα δουλεύει σαν ένα woofer 15" αλλά με πολύ μικρότερες παραμορφώσεις και πολύ πιο γρήγορη ανταπόκριση στις χαμηλές συχνότητες.
